When I'm not reading, I'm a professor of Early Childhood Education/Child Development at Parkland Community College, and occasionally Millikin University.

I have a husband, two daughters and a dog.

My perfect day starts with yoga and a swim - then I get to sit outside, near some water, reading - and it ends with a big dinner with all my family and friends.
